We're an online-only grocery store with in-person curbside pickup and delivery. - How can I shop from Addie’s?
It’s simple:
- Build your grocery order on on our app or website.
- Choose express (available for 15 items or less) or your preferred pickup or delivery window, and an Addie’s team member will pick your order to perfection.
- If you choose express or a scheduled pickup time, drive up to our canopy of pickup lanes to check in, and we’ll run your order out to your car. For delivery orders, a third-party courier will pick up your order from our Norwood location and deliver your order during your delivery window.
- You’ll be all set (and stocked up) – whether you need a week’s worth of essentials or just tortillas for taco night.
- How is Addie’s different from other grocery pickup services?
- We’re not a regular supermarket – and that’s by design. Traditional supermarkets weren’t built to fulfill your online order, but Addie’s can do it in a snap. That’s why we’re able to avoid the issues so common with other grocery pickup and delivery services, like surprise item substitutions, bruised bananas, expiring milk, limited pickup times, and service fees.
- With our unique ability to accurately track inventory – down to the last gallon of milk – we’re able to keep tabs on every expiration date, and perishable items are inspected daily to guarantee only the freshest items are available.
- How does Addie’s support Norwood?
- We strive to be a retailer that takes care of our team, our customers, our environment, and our community. - Can I come inside your store?
- No, but we’d love to see you in our pickup lanes! In order to operate at maximum efficiency and get your pickup order absolutely perfect, all shopping and ordering must be done through on our app or website. By limiting access to our store, we’re able to carefully track inventory, ensure food freshness through precise temperature management, and select pickup orders as quickly as possible. That means you can meal-plan with confidence knowing you’ll get everything you’ve ordered, every time.
- If we say an item’s available on our shelves, it’s available on our shelves.

- Can I get my order delivered?
- Subject to availability, we offer delivery through a third-party courier, The Grocery Runners, for a service fee. Unlike other delivery services, we personally select each item in your order to ensure it is perfect, and your food is fresh and temperature controlled as long as possible.
Once the delivery courier picks up your order, you will receive a text message to the phone number you provided at checkout with updates on your delivery driver’s status.
- Does Addie’s charge service fees or expect me to tip on my order?
- Pickup orders will never have additional service fees! And our team members do not accept tips. Addie’s is committed to paying competitive wages – frontline team members start at $20/hour. The best way to thank us for a great experience is to spread the word about Addie’s with friends!
When available, delivery of orders is provided by a third-party courier at a service fee, and tipping for the delivery driver is optional.
- Do I need a membership to shop with Addie’s?
- Nope, no memberships here! We believe everyone should have access to Addie’s.
- Where’s Addie’s located?
- You can find us at 911 Boston Providence Highway, right next door to MonkeySports SuperStore. We’re conveniently located with easy on/off at the Dean St exit.
- When is Addie’s open?
- We’re open 7 days a week, from 8am to 9pm. Special holiday/inclement hours will be updated on the website.
- What types of items do you carry?
- We offer a full grocery selection of all the fresh foods (produce, meats, dairy, frozen, etc.) and favorite pantry staples you’d expect from your go-to grocer. You can browse our selection on the Addie’s app or website.
- I’m not sure I want someone else picking my fresh food. How do I know you’ll do a great job?
- You have our utmost commitment to food quality, and our team members are specially trained to pick only the best and freshest items. If we’re not proud to bring an apple home to our families, then we’re not going to send it home to yours.
Our unique model allows us to provide unparalleled produce quality:- Our streamlined stocking process and ability to consistently track the quality and freshness of our inventory means we eliminate poor quality better than other grocers.
- We manage the fresh food cold chain better than anyone in the grocery space: A pint of raspberries only leaves cold storage for 60 seconds between the refrigerated delivery truck to our walk-in, controlled temperature cooler. When you arrive to pick up your order, it’s only another 60 seconds from our cooler to your trunk.
- Every fresh item is handled minimally and with care: Your produce is only touched once when it’s selected for your order by our well-trained team.
- As part of our Always Fresh Guarantee, in the event that you’re dissatisfied with a product, we’ll take it back without question and provide a full refund. Learn more about our refund process here.
- Can you tell me more about Addie’s approach to sustainability?
- We believe in not letting any food go to waste. If an item is approaching its expiration date, but is still in good quality, we donate it to local food banks and organizations we partner with, or give it away to our customers to enjoy. If an item expires, we compost all food waste to avoid adding to landfills.
- We’re also able to reduce our energy consumption and operate with only 25% of the electricity required by traditional supermarkets. Our smaller, pick up-only stores and highly efficient bulk refrigeration mean we can keep our operational energy usage considerably lower than the industry average. It’s all a vital part of our mission to be a sustainable, responsible partner for Norwood and beyond.
- I love Addie’s! Do you have a referral program?
- We’re so glad you want to share Addie’s! From either our mobile or web app, tap “Account,” then “Refer a Friend” and you’ll get a personal referral code that you can give to friends and family to get 20% off their first order. Then, when a friend completes a purchase using your code, you also receive a code for $20 off your next order of $75 or more. Share the love! There is no limit to how many times your code can be used (by unique customers), and a $1000 limit on how many referral bonuses you can earn.
Ordering
- Do I need to download the app to shop?
- No, you can shop on either the Addie’s app or website – but using our app will ensure the fastest and smoothest pickup experience. Our app will also give you access to more advanced order tracking, the ability to edit orders, and real-time notifications.
- When will my order be ready?
- When you have 15 items or less, we now offer an express pickup option, and your order can be ready in 15 minutes. For an unlimited number of items, you’ll be able to select your preferred pickup or delivery window when you place your order. Most orders will be available for pickup within an hour, and delivery within 2 hours. Want to plan ahead? Place an order for tomorrow or the following day.
- Do you accept manufacturer coupons?
- At the moment, we cannot accept manufacturer coupons. However, we regularly run sales and offer promo codes. Browse the Addie’s app or website to find sale items and special offers.
- How can I redeem my promo code?
- Apply a promo code to your qualifying order by entering the code on the Cart Details page before or during checkout.
- Is there a minimum order amount?
- Nope. There’s no minimum order amount. Whether you need one banana or your family’s entire weekly shopping list, we’ve got you covered.
- What types of payment do you accept?
- We accept major credit cards including Visa, Mastercard, AMEX, and Discover, Apple Pay (on iOS), and Google Pay (on Android).
- When will I be charged for my order?
- We’ll authorize your payment method upon order placement and collect your payment when you pick up your order, or when your order has been delivered to you.
- Can I make changes to my order after I’ve submitted it?
- For pickup orders, you can easily adjust quantities of items in your order or remove items up until our team begins picking your groceries as indicated on the Order Tracking screen in the mobile app. If you need to add a last-minute item, you can place a second order and our team will make sure you receive all of your items together in the same pickup.
- For delivery orders, no edits can be made to an order once it is within 2 hours of the start of the delivery window.
- Do you accept EBT SNAP?
- Unfortunately, we are not able to currently accept SNAP/EBT, but it’s something we’re working on! We are actively going through the registration process, and accessibility remains one of our highest priorities as we strive to be able to serve anyone in our community who wants to shop with us, regardless of their payment method. We will make an announcement on our pages as soon as the option is available.
- Do you offer a senior discount?
- No, we do not offer a senior discount. Our competitive prices are thoughtfully set to reflect the Addie’s mission of being an affordable, sustainable, responsible grocer for all.
Pickup & Fulfillment
- How can I track my order?
- In the app, active orders are visible via the Order Tracking banner on the bottom of the screen. Tap on the banner to see more details about your order status.
- For delivery orders, once the delivery courier picks up your order, you will receive a text message to the phone number you provided at checkout with updates on your delivery driver’s status.
- What happens when I come to pick up my order?
- For the best experience, select “I’m on the way” in the app or on the website and opt-in to location services. We’ll gather your order as you get closer to our pickup location to give you the fastest pickup experience possible.
- When you arrive at our pickup location, follow the arrow signs to our pickup area. Pull into an empty space and check in on the Addie’s app with your lane number.
- Our team members will grab your order and bring it out to your car right away, loading everything into your trunk or backseat, whichever you prefer.
- Rest assured that every single one of your items will stay appropriately temperature-controlled, right up until your order is headed out to your car.
- Can I pick up my order on foot or bike?
- Of course! Please see a Team Member onsite in our pickup area to receive your order safely outside of the space where vehicles are.
- Can someone else pick up my order for me?
- Yes! When viewing your Order Tracking, you’ll see the option to “Share Pickup Info.” This will allow you to text or email a link to a page containing your shareable pick-up code.
- What if I’m running late or need to reschedule my pickup?
- No worries if you're running late – life happens! Your ice cream stays in our freezer and your milk in our fridge until you arrive on location. If you'd like to tell us that you're running late, open our mobile app, tap “View & Edit” on the Order Tracking banner at the bottom of the screen, and tap “Edit” next to your currently chosen pickup window to select a new time slot.
- What if I don’t pick up my order?
- We’ll always hold your order until the end of the day after your selected pickup window (at least 24 hours). If you’re unable to pick up within this timeframe, your order will be automatically canceled. Keep in mind that repeat cancellations can result in restocking fees or service limitations per our Terms of Service. If you’d like to reschedule your pick-up time, learn more here.
- What if I'm not home when my groceries are scheduled for delivery?
- Addie’s offers contactless or unattended delivery for those who cannot be home to receive their order. Simply accept contactless delivery at checkout and the delivery courier will leave your groceries on your doorstep. You can also include instructions for the driver as to where to leave your groceries.
- If you did not accept contactless delivery, please ensure that someone is home to accept your order during your scheduled delivery time. If the delivery courier is unable to leave your order, then it will be returned to the store and canceled. You will still be responsible for the cost of the delivery fee and tip.
- How can I cancel an order?
- In the app, tap “View & Edit” on the Order Tracking banner at the bottom of the screen and select “Cancel Order” towards the bottom of the page. Keep in mind that late cancellations can result in restocking fees.
- For delivery orders, your order cannot be canceled once it is within 2 hours of the start of the delivery window.
- Will I be charged for shopping bags?
- No, our 100% recycled paper bags are provided free of charge.
- Can I use my own reusable shopping bags?
- No, in order to provide you with the smoothest and fastest service, we hand-deliver our orders in 100% recycled paper bags.
Customer Service
- I’m having trouble accessing my account. How can I get help?
- Once you’ve signed up, if you experience difficulty signing in because of a forgotten password simply select “Forgot Password?” on the Sign-In screen to enter your email address for instructions to help reset your password. If you’re still unable to access your account, please reach out to our support team at [email protected].
- How can I update my account profile information?
- From either our mobile app or web, edit your account profile information by going to “Account” and then “Account Info.”
- I had an issue with my order. How can I get in touch with Addie’s?
- If you need assistance with your order, we’re here to help. Send an email to [email protected] and we’ll get right on it. You can expect a response within 24 hours.
- We’re here to make sure you’re completely satisfied with the quality of both your Addie’s products and experience. As part of our Always Fresh Guarantee, in the event that you’re dissatisfied with a product, we’ll take it back without question and provide a full refund.
- How can I make a return?
- For the health and safety of our customers, Addie’s does not accept physical product returns. However, if you’re unhappy with a product or discover something was missing, request a refund through our mobile app by selecting “Account,” “Order History,” and choosing the order and items affected.
- How can I subscribe/unsubscribe to your mailing list?
- From either our mobile or web app, tap “Account,” then “Account Info” and update your communication preferences including marketing SMS/Email preferences. All marketing email communications also include a link at the bottom to unsubscribe.

- We hold our customers’ health and safety to the highest standard.
